With one of the most infectious personalities on the internet, Kota G is a man of many talents. With hundreds of thousands of followers across his social media platforms, Kota G let's his supporters (Who he calls "G's") speak for him when it comes to his likability. "The letter 'G' alone has always been a super important part of my family's history. Calling someone your G is a casual way of saying you're super chill with someone. I want my supporters to know how much they mean to me and to feel like they're more than just a 'fan'. I really would be nowhere without their support so I want them to have that same importance that the symbolism of the letter G is to me. It's like, I'm Kota and they're the G's so together we are Kota G." 

Keeping his love to music for himself, he has been fairly shy of sharing his own music with his supporters. "I was always worried about not being taken seriously as a musician. But like...I have a whole bachelors degree in music production. I just thought my identity on the internet was always going to be this goofy dude who's got jokes. I love making people laugh, but I hope giving them some of my personal music opens up a side of me that my supporters would be interested in."

His music has been incredibly well-received, sparking an interest in future projects. "I'm always working on something. Even if I'm away from the public eye. Something's brewing."
